Summer is in full swing and is a ton of fun. I hope you have all of the fun that summer nights have to bring! Including some ice cream from O Town! It's really calling my name right now...

It has been a while since my last newsletter, and I've been thinking about how I wanted to dive back into this. Naturally, a great opportunity presented itself! Tonight, I'd like to introduce you to Aaron.

I met my friend Aaron Blackmon at the Niffers On The Tracks. We bonded over their amazing appetizers and his impeccable dad jokes (I only aspire to be as good as he is). Aaron recently stepped out on his own and started a new venture: Red Cape Agency.

Aaron's skills start with his empathy for business owners, are enhanced by his attention to detail, and are rounded out by his knowledge of the DC universe. That is to say that Aaron is a great person and is always willing to lend a hand.

His skills pair perfectly with the mission of Red Cape. Red Cape specializes in email & SMS marketing. They help eCommerce companies elevate their marketing to superhero levels by providing support from strategy to design to delivery. To start the business, Aaron built amazing partnerships with brands like Gorgias, Klaviyo, Wonderment, and Okendo. These partnerships are the bedrock of helping eCommerce businesses in our area get their voice out into the world.

Red Cape has a ribbon cutting on the 22nd of June. Each of their partners will be represented, with some flying in for this event to talk with people face to face. Red Cape's Origin Story

Red Cape Agency was founded by Aaron Blackmon to help new and established businesses alike grow using growth marketing strategies like email and SMS. Today’s business owners and marketing professionals have plates piled high with responsibilities when trying to create or run a successful business. Aaron, if you can’t tell already, is a massive comic book nerd. As a formally trained artist, his original goal was to become a comic book artist. A goal that was realized on a different path while working for Warner Bros. and DC Comics. Aaron’s career spanned several industries over the years, including fashion and apparel, university marketing, the outdoor space, and now this agency. He also brings experience in several different disciplines including graphic design, videography, copywriting, email marketing, SMS marketing, website design, UI/UX Design, and digital strategy. Aaron brings his 12 years of experience to lead the Red Cape Agency team in service of its clients.

The goal of Red Cape is to truly be there to save the day, whatever that looks like. For some people, the hardest thing to do is to simply ask for help. So, we have tried to make it as easy as possible to do that, and then we’ll reward that trust with excellent service.
