This past Tuesday was another walkabout Tuesday, and I dare say it was one of the best yet. This Tuesday tradition is quickly becoming a favorite of mine. It's fun to be witnessing the seasons change week over week. Below is a great picture that David Bizilia took featuring Malachi Kent on our walk. In other news, I've been getting some consistent questions about the newsletter so I wanted to answer those in tonight's post. I figure if I'm hearing these consistently, even more people might be thinking them!

What is From Opelika?

From Opelika is a weekly newsletter written by me, Garrison Snelling, and edited by my wife, Abby. The topics can vary, but the point of the newsletter is to promote the people, places, histories, and happenings of Opelika that might otherwise go unseen. My thoughts and ramblings are added bonus.

In our world today, with ever-changing algorithms focused on selling you the next widget or gizmo, a newsletter is one of the best ways to stay in the loop...really because it just shows up in your inbox. The newsletter isn't exhaustive of all of the Opelika on-goings, but I do try to cover things that you might otherwise miss if it didn't come directly to you.

If you reply to the newsletter it'll definitely end up in my Inbox! My response times may vary depending upon my work schedule or how fast the 13 month toddler is running around. He's almost as fast as a car these days! But I really do love hearing from you!

Absolutely! If you could have your friend send me an email at garrison@fromopelika.com I can work out all of the details with them. Sometimes simply emailing me actually improves the deliverability, but I also have some tricks up my sleeve.
